Vibe - Official Music Video (Remix Ft. Donte Nphatic)

Music video number 4 is for the “Vibe” remix featuring artist Donte Nphatic. I know I’ve said every music video was my favorite video to film to date, but again… this video is my favorite video filming to date! All scenes were filmed in one day, and we persevered through both rain and shine (it was so hot mid-day) to get this video done. Donte’s brother and my bestie Omniya both helped out a lot behind the scenes to make everything streamlined.

The concept for this video was a melting pot of ideas. Omniya thought the video could be a comical one, based off Donte and I’s personalities and brought up there being an old lady in the video. I turned around and assigned her that role, and provided her with her granny wardrobe a few days later, lol. From that concept, I brought in the idea of the video focusing a various, seemingly “random” scenes in which Donte and I had each other’s back. I wanted to go for that “ride or die” vibe, and I’m definitely satisfied with the end result. From dancing in goodwill and crashing a bike into a couch (I actually had a NASTY bruise on the back of my leg for weeks from that) to stealing donuts from Bosa, the day was full of laughs and adventure.
